Today I was tracking a beat in PT. After I finished, I turned the 1k off then back on to start on a new project.

It stuck/froze on the load screen (tap tempo for OS1).

I turned it off and back on about 5 times with the same result.

Finally I turned it on again and it stuck/froze for a lil bit, then I heard the HD spin up and then the OS booted up.

Shit was weird.

I'm currently backing up my HD and will perform more tests.

Peace.

please keep us informed as to your problem's evolution because it's good for everyone to know.

but remember that it's unlikely this is your HD
the OS does not live on the HD.

Tru that.

I think I konow what I did wrong. I have a .bmp on the CF card for the SplashScreen and when the mpc was restarting I pulled it out. Which could have caused the freeze. (mpc looking for or about to load the .bmp)

If it happens again with out my stupidity, I'll let yall know. lol

thanks

Your hardisk does not like to power on/off 5 times. Better two wait till the harddisk stops spinning.
