We're literally just finishing the last tutorial in the JJ 3.08 version of our MPC1000 ebook, and I've come across something that is doing my head in. I'm trying to record a guitar riff to an audio track (say, track 62), but the resulting audio track created features a very obvious delay (at least 1 second). Thing is, if I just record a bar or so, the resulting audio is perfectly in sync. But when I try to record anything over 3 bars, it's out of sync from the very start of the sample.
The problem seems to be due to having a recording count in (in CLICK (F2)). If I set the the count OFF, the recorded audio syncs up every time, no problem - of course this makes recording pretty tricky/impossible if you want to come in the moment the sequence actually starts. I cannot find any real mention of this problem anywhere else. Is this a known issue?
Workaround is to add an extra bar at the start of the sequence with a recorded hat click or something, but surely this isn't needed, is it?
