Ive had my 1st mpc (2500) for a little while, im running akai os 1.23...
now about a month ago i was told to read up here about jjos and after all the praise i loaded the free 3.08 version.. it sure looked good..
my problem is i usually chop sample to 16 sections, convert to a program and im away, my desired section is spread across my pads..
now either my noobnesss got the better of me but with the free jjos i spent half an hour trying to figure out why the last pad was blank on my converted slicedsample program.. i can count.. honest.. but no matter what i tried i couldnt get it neatly spread begining to end as i have been doin on the basic akai OS.. i keep finding im missing a pads worth somewhere
a quick flick thru jjos modes etc and i could smell the added benifits, the zoom looked neater on the trim display.. no little cartoon characters holding up info etc i believe the jjos hype.. but i just wanted to do what i was used to, with the little time i have for my mpc between work, so i got rid of the free jjos version and reverted back to my basic but trusted 1.23, ive since scoured this forum for awnsers and now ive registered to gain some facts and tips from fellow mpc lovers
help me if u can and its my 1st post so go easy on me..
