Q LINK and Time Shift/Swing

Holla guys

I did notice interesting thing. I was owner of mp1k and JJOS 4.99, now I got 2.5k and JJOS 5.4x
When you go into TC(timingcorrect) on main screen, then assign QLINK to SWING or/and SHIFT.
ON my ol' mp1k after that when I moved qlink I could have seen changing data on screen.
On mp2.5 - you cannot see any changes, however QLINK works, but it's a BLIND work;)
You could move QLINK, press after button and see where you are, but it's not working like on mpc1000,

yeah, i was disappointed to find this doesn't appear to be dynamic setting

is this something that is likely to change in the future? ive not followed the previous jjos releases but will OS2 have any free updates like OS2.1? its already cost quite a lot of money to buy 2 passwords so don't want to have to fork out again any time soon
