I'm having this issue between Korg MS2000R and JJOS2:

I have midi track which has channel and program change set. When i press start there's a small delay when MS2000 kicks in... First notes don't play at all.

I guess it's because MPC initializes this preset/program change when PLAY-button is pressed...

Workaround is to initialize program change in previous sequence and leave program change blank but that's just annoying.

Any ideas/pointers?

did u use the main page pgm select, or did u insert the instruction in the step editor. I'd try both methods and see if they yeild the same results, otherwise u might hav to go with the dummy sequence to get the pgm changed before those notes kick in.

I used main page pgm.

Yeah same thing in step editor :x

Sucks because my beaten tx81z doesn't have this problem.

there might be an option inside the korg. maybe it is trying to re-init the patch everytime it receives the pgm change. Its strange its isolated to the korg only. none of my synths have this problem.
