Question for JJ or anyone who might know

Never posted before so yall are gonna have to be patient

On my MPC 1000 I saved over an .ALL file last week with the wrong data (from a different beat)

1 Can I revert or edit or extract any of the data?
2 Can I retrieve tha ALL file through windows?

Any help would be most appreciated!!!!

Might as well start the process all over again. You can do the work, but it would be task ridden.

you might be able to run some data recovery on the disk ? when ever i aquire second hand media i always run a data recovery to see what the previous owner had on there, used to be especially good when government departments sell off old computers.

put ya CF card in your pc, and run forensic data recovery tool, see if u can find the all files that have been overwritten / replaced / deleted.

Yeah Data recovery works very well if the disk hasn't been written over too often after you deleted the file you want to restore.

Try OnTrack Easy Recovery. It's a great tool to do this

does it work on overwritten files? i knew of applications to recover deleted files, but i never managed to save overwritten files.

ok managed to recover a file from the disk (using standard recovery software) but file doesn't load
something about it being a wrong file type had a look with a txt editor and in comparision with another file seems some data is missing ahhhhh!!!!!!!!! I aint any good with code ...........anyone got any ideas? ...............jj where you at?

juast forget about it, you **** up, wear it on the chin, it was probably a sign and will take u a place u might not have went.
