LOL @ FredFrank, like battling that pseudo pimp Ice-T is some kind of accomplishment. 
I'll wreck the both of y'all at the same time off the head. As for the Instant Replay, It's a tool. It's like your a wood sculptor saying the use of chain saws are wack and only chisels and whittling knives are "keeping it real". 
Mad cause at this stage in your existence your in geezer mode extolling the virtues of how y'all "use to do it". It's a new day, things change. Stop being a technophobe. the Instant Replay is an inanimate object and the only thing that could be wack about it is HOW a person who is wack uses it.
For the record I have never had nor use the Instant Replay at any of my shows, I always rock with live DJ's. I just can't see why anyone would have a problem with the use of one.
As I said, I saw De La rock with one and they're show was tight, much better than 75% of hip-hop shows I've seen and I've seen plenty.
