OS2XL Chord

This might be a dumb question but I am sort of confused with this chord function.

In the video the guy using this function has a piano sound playing when he strikes the keys. Are these sounds part of OS2XL and if not how to I go about getting instrument sounds to play out with this function? Is it like a Midi triggering feature to trigger external sound modules or is it a Multi-timbral sample type of thing? Again im sorry if I missed something in the tutorial but im trying to figure this out.

ehm, i am kind of a noob too, and i did not see the video but you can use f.e. the adrs example sounds.... just make shure the program is in polyphonic mode... am i rite folks?

you can use both midi triggering and instrument samples with the chord generator... and i believe the program has to be set to poly in order to use the chord function.

JJ's outdone himself with this function. With over 90 variations of Arpeggio along with every major minor diminutive scale etc., it's turned my MPC into a whole new machine. The MIDI works great with my virtual synths. Great Christmas present!! Thanks JJ

So I have to assign each pad individually?

one thing i dont like is the moment of silence you get before the first note in the chord is triggered on the higher arp settings. i thought it should be the "simulted" notes that get delayed and not the initial pad note. i posted it up in the bug reports cause im not sure if its a bug or specification- havent emailed jj yet though.
