Hey, I'm using the free JJOS, and on some beats i'll save them using the save entire memory function, replacing the same files. But when I load it later, no sounds will play although the sequences and tracks will still be laid out. If i go to the program screen, the sample is still there, but a question mark is before it, like ?Kick 5.

I'll have to manually reload the sounds and put them on the right pad to get the sound back. it's just a huge pain. anyone know what's causing this? thanks

strange. this just happened to me last night when i had some folks over that wanted to hear a track. i use os2 though.

had to spend a few minutes reloading the programs. weak.

i formatted my hdd after installing os2, and i've done beats since that didn't have this problem. not sure exactly what it is but it sucks. if i wanted glitchy saving i would've stayed with the akai os :x

how are you cataloging your files on your drive. alot of people use the save entire mem function but i never do. mainly because i work on multiple tracks at the same time. so basically each song gets its own folder and i manually save all pgms and seq's related to that song in said folder. reloading is still easy as just loading the whole folder. but it keeps all my work seperated and i have never had a single problem like this. give it a try.
