Grid edit in Free 3.08

Hi all ...


Can anyone advise if you can change the velocity of each hit in the grid edit window, as opposed to just movin the hit around the time line ( say on the hi hats for example ) ?

not sure if u can in that version. very doubtful

in the later 'paid for' versions - eg: OS2 - its possible, (midi) grid edit lets u hit 'odub', and "F5/edit" appears, thst lets u cursor to the events details, velocity, duration, note #, and position.....

note: qlinks1&2 are on hand to edit duration and velocity (respectively) by slider movements! - avoiding typing in values or with cursor/wheel. very slick.

you should try editing velocity on discrete events in the step edit screen Mode+Pad14.
