i made some wicked riddim with this kit so thought i'd share see if y'all like it as much as me.

to get the sounds i used battery3 and some processing, sampling the hits using the various articulations available within battery, and placing them near each other on the pad layout..you might want to use mute groups for each group of 4 pads to get the real nice sound..

Jacky-- I tried out this program last night, nice realistic samples and those articulations are killer! But what tempo were these sampled at?

I didn't get anything too good happening with the kit as is, but I'll probably incorporate some of those samples into my own programs. Would you upload a sequence you did with this kit? I'd love to see how you worked it...

Thanks a lot jackymurda! These are some really good samples. I was messing around with it a bit last night, and I'm going to go back into it tonight and add some of the mute groups like you suggested. If I'm getting this right, the best way would be to group most of the pads vertically. For example, pads 1, 5, 9, and 13, but I also thought that either pad banks 2 or 3 were all high hats. Do you mute all of these together or are they different sounds? Trivial, I know, but I'm trying to organize all of my complete programs, so that I know they no longer need to be edited... Thanks in advance, and again, thanks for uploading this. I really appriciate when someone takes the time to share their own work.

yeah man i grouped 'em according to vertical rows .. if i remember correctly i sampled these at 140 bpm,at least thats the speed i made the riddims in with this kit.. the articulations are flam,three stroke ruff, and some kinda drag thing, plus the orig hit at the bottom row plain.

Oh word... 140 bpm might have been throwing me off. Plus your layout made me realize that I'm used to putting hi-hats on the pads in between my kicks and snares.
