Thus, if simult is assigned to each other, it will not play.

So now you can just record it whit one pad and then select the layered kick on the other pad to play simult?
So simult works again?

really? can someone confirm this? im at work for hours - ill try not to pee myself in the meantime

no i think it is talking about reciprocal simult. pad a1 simulted to a2, and a2 also simulted to a1.so if you hit either pad you get the same sound. still a nice bug fix.

Everybody-- Nothing major, they just fixed a small glitch in Simult (new style).

yeah he's just fixed it, this is the way its supposed to be, forward/backward simult land.

2 things probably contributed to that:

1. your bug report was excellent. clearly written, easy to follow, and even included an example program. well done.

2. it was probably an easy fix for JJ.

no, not yet.

honestly, i think the fact he hasn't said "no" yet is encouraging. i'm sure he's thinking about it but has higher priorities.

i still have a couple requests for os 2 concerning GRID EDIT & the LOOP EDIT mode that should be easy to implement so i still am going to submit those to him and see what he says.

...and of course any outstanding bugs in os 2 are still fair game to request fixes for.

Everytime i try and download the 1.11 update and instead of downloading the update once i click on the link i am forwarded to this URL- http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/mpc1000_xl111.os2 which shows just a sh!t ton of what appears to be code.
Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

No, but I wouldn't sweat this update unless that simult problem was BUGging you. They're about to put out a 1.12 update to XL .

Try right clicking and doing a "Save as".
