When I timestretch in FL it causes no problem, just speeds or slows down the sample (pitch). But when I try to do it on the mpc, it's more of a patched phrase.

timestretch on my 1000 gets 2 thumbs down. :( For me timestreching is done in Reaper and then transfered to the MPC. Softwares the way to go in my opinion.

Different machines, different algorithms. Just use computer to time stretch.

i don t wanna say it is useless on the mpc cause for small amounts is okay...

Yup, there is always a use for any mpc effects, BUT, the effects are nowhere near the big boy effects
found in pro audio daws, yet and still, useful to a point inside the box.

no doubt. i use whatever effects possible on the mpc for what i do. most of the time, i get what i need out of them. otherwise, the daw is there for the crucial shit.

Damm, I'm really trying to eliminate the computer from my production. I just can't believe a 2 thousand dollar machine can't timestretch by bars/beats.

I totally agree with this statement. When i watch programs like ableton live in action, I scratch my head and wish my mpc could do some of those things. Timestretching in ableton is quick and easy.

U don't even need to touch a computer.

Stick to turntables, mpc, amp/preamp, monitors if you are serious about not touching a computer.

You also HAVE to understand and ACCEPT the capabilities/limitations/strengths of the mpc.





Live with it, it's not a pc.
