I have made this Piano sound for you, hope you like it. I have sampled 3 tones pr octave, and it sound very good i think.

Thanks....spread it....if I have sampled from an expensive stage piano can anyone sue me then?

I mean all piano sounds to samplers/romplers must have been sampled from a SOME Digital Piano of some sort. I have NOT used ANY copyrighted ROM samples or anything smiliar. I have just sampled evey 4th tone of the stage piano

I have samples the stage pianos STEREO OUT, L (MONO) like this:
C_1 to D#1
E_1 to G_1
G#1 to B_1

...and so on for all octaves.

(To ME the stage piano and my MPC piano program sound ALMOST identical, also with expressiveness. I have made a little vecloity->filter_env and other stuff.)

The programs ONLY cover 76 notes, because that is what my current control-keyboard-(synth) does (JX-10).

So if anyone out there has a 88 key controller, and you want a version covering all 88 keys, let me know by PM and I'll make a version 2 of the programs with 88 key support.

You might be wandering why the samples are so large, and that is because I DON'T use looping, I simply sample the entire decay/release becasue I am NOT good at making good and natural sounding loops on accustic instrument samples.

If anyone wants to make the loops for me and thereby reduce sample size by 70% PM me and I will supply samples without any effects, and then you can send me the looped samples and all will be well
)

I didn't understand all that talk about digital pianos and sampling "STEREO OUT, L (MONO)".

So, you've taken two microphones, and sampled the sound of an acoustic grand piano?

As I understand it, he's tapped the line outs on a digital piano while playing a grand piano patch.

And if it is legal to make a multisampled synth sound from a Jupiter/Prophet/Moog or whatever, then MY piano samples are legal too as I have sampled the instrument by recording from its analog out into my MPC's analog in...

So, is my Piano Sound really legal or not? I would really like to know....really.

Are you sure?
Sampling samples seems a bit dodgy to me. After all, a sample has a particular unique fingerprint and sampling the sample would still reveal the original sample when analysed...

Unless we're talking about an electric piano that synthesizes by manipulating samples of small waveforms.

I only see 6 pages and I can't find it on any of em. Am I doing something wrong.

I can't see the strings programs either on yoursampler.com. Not if I go trough all 6 pages nor if I choose "Newest".

Maybe we should talk to zombaio, cause he is the almighty creator of yoursampler.com

Maybe there is a little bug somwhere on the site, so it only shows 6 pages or maybe the uploader did something wrong.

ralphyartis' >> Did your press "Update" when you have uploaded your .zip/.rar, demo and picture? Try logging on the site again a go to "Manager" and see if your strings programs are even there.

If we all contribute with only the best of our original sounds, then that site could be the best sample-site ever
