It is a done deal...

I just copped the 2500 for $800 —which I'm figuring was a good deal cause ebay is crazy with the price

-The ram was already maxed

-I had to—not because there was anything wrong with it—get a few things done to it

-JJOS 1.43 XL upgrade
-CD Drive added
-New pads/sensors (some glow ones)
-Hard drive install

so all together is was about $1150 to $1200 bucks.

how difficult was the pad/sensor swap? was it a major improvement or just cosmetic?

I've had mine for 4/5 years (whenever it was originally released). Occasionially the pads get glitchy and was thinking of refreshing it with some new pads or sensors..........

Thoughts anyone?

Sorry man.... It was mostly cosmetic. I didn't want homies old pads on there. But pls don't get the corx things---they will increase sensitivity...but only in the center....hitting from the side is a complete headache.

Last week i copped mine MPC 1000 for 400 $ As good as new. It was without guarantee so i think its a super deal.
- Installed RAM
- Bought 32 GB CF Card
- Installed free JJOS

Now I'm on vacation and trying to figure out this beat machine. Previously i used software so a lot of hard work do. Wish me luck
