.....LOL collecting dust in someones pawn shop if u ask me lol. I had to post this bcuz using my MPC w/ JJos2xl is like having a girlfriend who keeps things exciting and doesnt bore u over time. I may be super late on finding these features but last night i stumbled across the aftertouch feature (used it with the filters) and the loop window that lets u fine adjust the loop points (similar to the MPC2kxl...well thats where i had seen it b4) If u ask me, global program edit, non-destructive chop, and quantize strength are alone worth the price of admission lol JJ, my MPC says thank u for allowing her to find a permanent home lol. I def need to download the manual and see what other features im missing out on

How many dope or classic tracks were made by yourself or others on MPC's without JJOS?

Honestly now, what does that really tell you?

Cat among the pigeons...

scratch that i got something here to look through viewtopic.php?f=25&t=104555

When you play your samples in live you can then tighten them up as much or as little as you like with quantise strength, without having to quantise all your hits to exact points. Just makes it easier to create a loose feel that still remains 'in the pocket'.

Where would the MPC be w/out JJ??

In my studio where it is now without JJOS. I have used it on the 1000 I sold, but my 2500 is still on the Akai OS.
