Sorry if this toppic is already posted here . Please redirect me with the correct link to that .
GPS doesnt seem to work here!!

The Problem is as follows

running JJOS-xl ver. 3.23

Basicly it comes to this .
Got every thing programed the rite way to my knowledge.this is no rocket science.
I play a pad(x) thats set to oneshot/mono. Programs are not set to mono, and Pad (x) isnt in a mute group or any of that .Ther is no pad targeting this pad(x) to mute it.
but still wen i play the beat hitting the other pads its randomly mutes this sample in pad(x) .

It reminds me of my old Roland W30 wich is only 16 notes polyphone. so when you trigger 17 notes it wil cuttoff Another note .BOEh!

i cant imagine that this would be the same problem .

dear JJ please Fix this!!

ooh while im at it make the MUTE and the SIMULT two seperate functions .and this machine will be a real MONSTER like the 2000xl was for its time .

Peace.

Hey MOD, cool to see you on this forum. Dope music!

On the top right of the program is a setting that can be set to (global) mono/poly. Maybe that's it?

Btw, you can use the SIMULT and the mute groups (1-16) instead of the mute settings. This works for me.

Yes BlackMarvel there is a way.....
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2xl/padpgm.htm
That is the way to switch up programs by pad, and its great fun.
  :smoker:

There is two other solutions you might want to consider, as well as the above method.

First, I use foot switch, to change the banks. Unfortunately it is a bit broken as it is, and needs update, which I am sure will happen eventually. I waffle on about it here...

Please give me your 2 cents about it BlackMarvel thanks.

Second, is pattern to pad. If you make a pattern from a track then in drum mode just change pitch and that exact same pattern can be shifted up 16 = next BANK. So that is another way you can play and change up banks with same pattern playing live.

Really you should have a total 3way with all these methods at once, I do and it rocks.

huh, didn't know about that program pad feature...

I have so much to learn about 2xl... I haven't even yet touched things like patterns, MIDI buttons...

sometimes when stuff like this happens, if you just re-load the project it fixes it for some reason. ive found them to be really stable machines though, so stuff like this usually doesnt happen.

also, black marvel, check your PM's.
