Bug fix: New OS Ver4.38 6-Feb-2007

1. [STEP EDIT]
　Song position pointer does not MIDI out when cursor up/down.

2. [TRACK MUTE]
　F6[SOLO] Track1~56 -> F6[SOLO](Unsolo) but Audio track dose not play.

3. [MAIN]
　A sample sometimes cannot be chosen by an audio track(57-64).

Change.
　[Sequence]
　The number of notes of a sequence is changed into 300,000 notes.
　 Since the NOTE number increased, it became impossible to save a sequence to an internal memory.
　Loading is not made, either.

seems self-explanatory.
it's something i wouldn't care about, as i save to hard disk and never use the internal flash memory.

yeah i guess since you can autoload from hard drive it's all good. i've been needing to make an ideal autoload folder with all the basic samples/sequences/programs on my hard drive for a while anyway.

i've been using the autoload folder on my hard drive lately and it's cool to have all my recent work load up right away. that's something i havent done in a while.

once this thing has the sample load into programs from where ever you left off in the list and
convert slice to sequence i'm gonna loose my **** mind

still waiting after JJ anwser about the mpd thingy.

maybe we could make a new bug thread, tracking out the last bugs remaining and sending it to JJ. then we could have a stable version, a kind a of definitiv os.

if jj has still idea, or users, then he could work from thei "stable" os.

anyway, great work again. the best os for mpc ever !

yeah, that's a good idea.
i like the suggestions people have for new features. but i feel it's better if we keep our focus in this thread about this specific version, and test it out thoroughly for any bugs before moving on to any more feature requests. there's too many OS versions on JJ's site as it is, and i'm sure that may confuse anyone that's just coming up on it.

Why? Has the internal memory been maxed out?

i wonder if jj could scrap the whole "save to internal mem" thing and make autoload only from mem card or HD so as to free up room for stuff like 300,000 notes and other such maximizations

Would it be possible to increase the 96 ppq to maybe 480 ppq or so?



Wouldn't that make sense, so finally people could stop doing songs with "double" bpm rate?
