Just wonderin if anybody has an update on what date specifically JJ is talkin bout this month...

no idea.
we're still waiting on quite a few bug fixes for the 1000. so i'm sure both versions will be available at the same time.

Yeah... really hope so. i just bought version 5.49 just to update to the os2. hopefully that will fix my record in problems.

If it`s possible in the new OS to use Audio Tracks like normal Tracks and if it has 32 Audio Tracks instead of just 8 (as JJ introduces on his Site), it would do the Job for me..

little advice: if you're really fast and confident with your current os, be prepared to face an initial slowdown as some of the screens are a little different. give it two or three daws of moderate use and you will be back to current speed (or faster). it doesn't take long.

I'm pretty confident, learning machines was never really hard.

dunno when exactly
these guys are very busy
but i'm sure it'll turn into the same type thing, where releases are simultaneous

basically just a matter of patching the code from 1 machine to the same machine w/ more qlinks and outputs, you know? not much is different. yall have the benefit of 1000 bughunting w/ the downside of delayed delivery. "in march" is my best guess, and you already knew that.
