put the cursor over the PAD column in GPE in the SAMPLE screen & hit WINDOW.

and where is simult pad?

same place it was in OS 2. in the LFOMUTE screen.

range is achieved with SHIFT+cursor up/down - not as fast for selecting two out of four banks, but faster for selecting four consecutive pads. remember if you hold the cursor, it's like holding space bar - one sspace, pause, then spacespacespacespace

its kind of annoying that you can - '(hold) shift, press cursor down', but you cant '(hold) shift, press cursor up' or is that a bug?

i agree but it's not a bug. SHIFT + cursor up has always been used as a shortcut to jump to the top of the screen in GPE. i do it all the time to switch MONO & POLY, for example.

"shift + tap multiple pads" would be ideal...
or "shift + tap LOW PAD and HI PAD would be sweet..."

but in the meantime how do yall like the qlink to parameter value?
it's not in my muscle memory yet so when i move fast i still just go to the data wheel

Just waiting on password.
Can someone have a look and see if audio track locators/markers are still there. My favourite feature.
cheers

who can tell me how to copy an entire pad's params from 1 to another? i can't track it down, but i heard someone say they found it earlier

undo does them one at a time, i know that

I really wish the JJ team would leave the pad/pair implementation alone. I control a lot of external gear like my sp-1200 in which I have special programs that are mapped specifically. I had to make new programs. Not a big deal but I think it was a pointless change. I already know there is a thread pointing this feature/problem(?) out.

it makes a lot of sense in other ways, for the new CHORD and ARP function for example.

all outcomes are going to be inconvenient in some way inevitably
just gotta work around it
it's definitely worse for you folks using older stuff because there's not as much midi vst stuff you can do to modify/account for the changes in sequencing...

Hi,

I'm a proud owner of a 1K with the JJOS1. I'm so disapointed JJ dropped the multitimbral thing for OS2XL. That would be THE thing that would make the 1K useable for a live performance.
Would be great, for instance, if you could set the volume of each track separately using an ext. controller (faders...). Anybody as heard the reasons that made him he drop it ?

edit : No seriously, that would have been the No1 feature that I miss since day one. maybe I should change hardware actually. My miss will kill me...
