JJOS worth it?

try the free jjos it works like a charm

one more thing, all programs and **** will load op as before right?

JJ OS2 is not compatible with the akai program mode, JJ OS1 is though.

Of course all the samples will load, and remember you can still load the akai OS (or JJ OS1) back for projects if you need to. The program mode in JJ OS2 has additional features though (ADSR for example) so the old programs will not load.

just installed os1, waiting for my password...

all i can say is WOW, it is a HUGE difference. i'm loving the trim/chop features and the sample edit screen is off the chain.

for anybody who is toying with the idea of doing it, i highly suggest doing it... only takes a minute, no joke.

Let me know when you get your p/w because this 1.24 v sucks really to be real I am not at all impressed with this unit. So a new OS will could maybe sway me feelings because what an OS that handles like a used car this shit is so quarky just like there tech support In Cumberland RI.

I could kick one of those no nothing asswholes in there mowfs, They no nothing at all they may have a unit in there cube which they use to take calls.

man certified, haven't gotten my pw yet but i had a sample chopped with drums and 4 different sequences done in less than an hour... chopping is truly a new experience... it's beautiful

already tracked it out to logic and everything is smooth sailing. just try it out, it takes like 30 seconds and you can switch back if you dont want to... i didn't even format my drive yet
