I would be down for xfade stereo samples, even if it did use up 4 voices, hell even if it used up like 8 voices I would still want it

yessir!!!

there's always a way around 32 poly...

because how do you make a non-realtime loop? it would be impossible

you can't create an infinitely long wav file

yeah thats how my emu does it.

a loop export feature would be nice- audition the loop as it is now so you can adjust to taste, then freeze it as a new sample with the fade inplace.

Itd be useful for altoops too for destructive editing of the fade outs- i still find that the decay times are sometimes not steep enough on oneshot drum sounds for instance. the export would add a reverse section of the sound to the end of the original sample.

yep - a kind of x-fade "print to file" would suffice, replacing the original stereo with a stereo xfaded tail looped clean as yer pants on first day at school

ah, I guess that's a pretty good idea :)

judging by the way it sounds in loop/focus in trim, no its way not s.a.

different nearly every few loops. but i dont have a digital oscilloscope handy.

Co-sign on that one. The unreliable sample fluctuations during looping is one of the major, most frustrating basic flaws of the MPC 1000 in my eyes.

yep.. that's what i'm talking about, don't know what's the problem,
why to make the processing realtime
