I reformatted from inside the MPC with JJ-OS. Did you format using windows, or with the MPC?

yeah i had a problem a couple times saving stuff in the xl. 1.10. i put 1.11 yesterday, gotta see if its still fuggin up. my problem was like that old akai thing...save a complete memory, and then shiot doan load up right. was really glad i tracked out the beat during the session or i'd a been PROPER fugged.
it's back to os2 for me till xl gets stable...
i didnt really mind all the close window bugs cause i could click mode or main and get outta a window...but the saving errors really screw me on a professional level..arrrg

It does still happen post akai OS, simple things to check, the samples must be 16 bit, and sample name must have no spaces in the name, this can be missed especially if there is a space at the prefix

Okay, time for another wack update:::
- OS 1.11 DOES NOT load up the All&Sequence Data right - you have to select it, press DO, then press F3 [SEQ] to manually select the Sequence(s). Otherwise it won't work!!!!!!
The really strange thing about this is: yesterday, I think when I created the beat (for the 2nd time!), the project would load normally after saving. Maybe this is something that just appears, after the mpc has turned of, meaning that the seq data just stays in the RAM all the time, when it's on, so you don't realize that it's not getting loaded properly...
All in all, that's the worst OS build I came across yet...
