All the forementioned request plus...
A new feature that... auto time stretches all the samples without changing the pitch.

Hit a pad to slice marker point.
The pad hit also assigns that CHOP to that PAD number!
This can be used in non-destructive and destructive mode.

This is a feature I have been wanting Akai and JJ to implement in an OS update. The Fantom G and I believe the MV has something very similar. And pretty much all software DAWs has this feature. But as you suggested above, I would like to see this function in both destructive and non-destructive chopping modes.

However, I would probably like use of the F keys to add slice markers.

That would be absolutely dope.

I've sent a request to JJ about the 'CHOP AT PLAY MARKER'
got the standard response but at least he has it now,
fingers crossed we get it!
Peace!

make FX's as AUDIOSUITE.
I mean:
- select sample -> edit -> select FX (f.e : EQ) -> make parameters and adjust it to sample with overwrite function.

It's too long to send sample to FX then resample, disable send to FX, adjust FX'ed sample to pad and etc...
Thanks.

For example I recorded on 1 track SNARE and KICK, make button to split this track into 2 TRACKS (1tr- SNARES & 2tr - KICKS)

To make this work...we must be able to control the Playmarker. In other words, the Playmarker should be controlled using the data wheel.

Well the data wheel controls the START/END values.
Maybe that wouldn't work???
The playmarker needs to be linked to the slice function.
Hit a pad/button and it splices at that position.

Track mute song mode!

Like the FL song mode?

So u can arrange the beat inside the mpc much easier than the "stone age" song mode we got now.

Like this:

Track1:KICK:_______START:-----XXXXXX---XXX--X-- END OFF SONG
Track2:SNARE:______START:-----XXXXXX---XXX--X-- END OFF SONG
Track3:HIHAT:______START:---XXXXXXXX-XXXX-X-- END OFF SONG
Track4:SAMPLE:_____START:XXXXX-X-XXXXXX--XXX END OFF SONG
Track5:BASS:_______START:-----XXXXXXXX-XXXX--- END OFF SONG

X: ON
-: OFF

And X & - : 1 Bar!

I hope u understand my poor explanation hehe :)

What I mean is...there would need to be a "current address" or "now field" for the playmarker. Much like any parameter, when the cursor is moved to this field, the data wheel will modify that parameter. So the data wheel will move the playmarker and either hitting a button/pad will slice (or create a slice marker) at that position. As I pointed out earlier, Fantom G nearly has this perfected. Except it is limited to only 16 slices per sample and it doesn't have the JJ non-destructive chop.

Yeah i know what you mean.
We have an a seperate reference for loop start to sample start,
so I guess there has to be a way to have a seperate reference to the playmarker.
Maybe we could suggest this to JJ.
It could help him implement this feature sooner than later.

i'd like to have pad 9 and pad 12 to be set as "<<PREV CHOP" and "NEXT CHOP>>" in the trim/chop screen while chopping to directly jump to the next and previous chop... Its more complicated than its necessary to go to the cursor, select chop, turn the data wheel and go back...

press numeric key 1 = discart
Press numeric key 2 = extract
Press numeric key 3 = delete
....
....
pressing numeric key 8 = time stretch

need to flow! shortcut!!!!!!

Also a good one. Sounds doable.
