i think what he means is that even tho it appears JJ has brought back MIXER automation to XL, you still can't record 2 passes of qlink REALTIME & NOTE ON variation like in os 1 & 2.
yeah thats what i meant. also,from what i can tell, you only see pan and level changes happening seperately on the video. you could expect it to work the same as the other q link option i.e. at a particular section of a track you can only record one type of data ; pan or level. but not both. So you couldnt do crazy panning and fade out at the same time for example.
