Mute group across different tracks

yep its version 1.47 of os2xl was the last to maintain muting across tracks, its pretty old and buggy tho. I have it if u need send me a PM.. or like u say OS 2 can do it.

Thanks. I have it too. I think 1.46 was less buggy. I might try that for this one sequence I am trying out.

I REALLY wish a program was a program, and not a per track situation. Seems like a different Mono/Poly mode could do it. Like Poly / Mono track / Mono.

Dam straight - the keyword definitely is OPTIONAL tho - as there definately are some awesome things made possible with the current setup that come at the cost of others.

It would be very interesting to hear from JJ as to if an option can theoretically fit into the OS, as i would imagine it would be creating 2 quite different architectures depending on in if the option is on or off.. I mean - surely there's a reason it wasnt implemented earlier as it was such a big change.

anyway - time will tell. maybe this topic should just be moved to JJOS request section

I requested it last night. The more the merrier!

I asked for a Poly, mono track, and a mono option for programs. Mono track would work how it works now, mono would be true mono.

We'll see what the response is.
