Are you saying you can access the load screen, while sequence is running, and scroll
your samples to audition?You need to provide something to back this statement, as it
is skepticism until I see proof.

the sequence has to be stopped before you go into load mode, but once in load mode, yes. u can hit playstart and the sequence plays while u preview samples on the card by pressing play...

So i tried it last night inflict, and nope it did not work. i went into load screen and hit play and it actually just plays the sample that is highlighted.

this is exactly what i do.. i even had a cf card reader installed on my pc so i can just swap the card between the mpc and pc. set the tempo in reaper and build the beat for eq and what not..

its playstart, but yea, it probably just plays the sample too, i just updated my jjos2xl from 2.something to 3.something yesterday and was hopefull, but tryed the playstart button and still the same., im always hopeful, cause that is the feature i love about the 500
