this was suggested and doesnt work. i'm using JJOS3 1.29 and with multi off the MPC will only transmit one midi channel via the midi thru (whichever is selected as active track receive channel). perhaps there is a bug, Soft Thru OMNI-AB doesn't work properly with multimode off?

I don't think so. What I'd like is either an option to specify a single channel to record from in multi-mode, or the possibility to send all midi channels thru the midi-outs when not in multi-mode.

I think it's worth checking twice if there is a bug or not. When you can, compare with OS2XL too. It helps.

yeah i'm definitely going to look into it when i have more time. right now i am using multi-mode and muting tracks that i don't want to record to, at least i can make music with both of these things. i'll post again when i know something.

10 years later...is this still the case? Maybe it's time to upgrade to an MPC One...
