i kinda like the idea of limitions, it makes you think outside of the box 
a bit tedious (wish we had unlimited polyphony, but whatever, if we had no limits to our machine we wouldn't be forced to try new things).

actually thats why ive put my daw to the side latley, other than recording. the limitations actually let you focus on the music, where on the computer, i usually spent so much time trying to tweak a vst to get a certain sound and then mixing it, nothing ever got completed. my ears would get fatigued pretty quick.
