all you do is assign it to a pad not makin beat is basicaly all numbers so u got a 120 bpm with pitch at 0 so every pitch down = like 10 bpm so pitch to -3 and u have a 90 bmp tempo .

(whats is the difference between pitch shift and "TUNE" on the mpc1k?)

pitch shift u will hear a dramatic change with tune say u take a drum loop and its a bit too fast for ur 90bpm seq then u tune it down about .10 or .20 and it will start to fit right

pitching up or down is not proportional

for a 120 bpm loop goes to 90 you need to pich - 4.98

OR without changing the tonality

you can timestrech 133.333 the 120 bpm to get it at 90 bpm

As I said before, I didn't read the other post, that's why I didn't realize that the things might (and I am stretching that m i g h t) not be obtained leagaly, ok!? I hope that I picked an appropiate english this time. So please stop talking about me using slang or colloquial english... I know my way around and feel comfortable speaking and writing in english... second if you need the money sell it cuase your not makin money with it...
3rd support jj becuase as far as i can see,with the update my mpc is worth
twice what i paid for it now....

also for the hard work for a manual i think stan should get more.. then a serial....
