the qlink to swing is a PRE recorded note feature, not post
i was originally disappointed by this but have since realized how useful it is
i assign a slider (usually q2) to swing while editing recorded sequences
say i don't like the swing on 1 note, i scroll to it, delete it, move the qlink to a more appropriate swing, drop it in, jump back a bar, preview it, and then either try again or delete it.
it would be nice if you could "seize" a note and just move it via qlink but you can do that with the data wheel in MIDI edit so i'm not complaining
