Bugfix wrote:Why am I gettin' 32 blank bars when I do (in mind) what you described?

Every new sequence has a default amount of bars. Your is set on 2bars as default.
That's why you are gettin' 6bars if you copy to "unused" sequence, because it's new.
If you want your new sequence to be 4bars as source seq,
why don't you just copy the sequence from main?
But why you should care what Bugfix's sayin'?
it's just a Bugfix, yo.

sorry dude, but if what you said was true, the 2 silent bars would be at the beginning.
moreover, i always use this function on the same sequence as destination, which does not have any silent bars, and i get 2 silent bars at the end.

example:
seq 1 has a 2 bars beat.
copy bars (to the same sequence)
first bar: 1 / last bar: 2
number of copies 4.
do it
end up with 8 bars + 2 extra silent bars.

good try bbugfix, but if you want to live up to your nickname, better actually experiment on the mpc (rather than just in mind). ;)

edit: mpcmozzy-> see my previous message on where to report the bug. and try to make a step by step explanation:
1 press mode + pad x
2 set first bar to 1
3 etc...
thank you! :)

I understand that it can be hard to accept that you are wrong,
you together with your horse.

dude?? nice try??
Look now, looser I'm inside=out this os since 3.05 came out,
and I have reported more TRUE bugs, than YOU can even imagine
in your expert brain.
You can clown me on the forum, I don't care, but I care about the OS a lil.

I'm not lookin' for arguing,
and I don't have time to explain what you are doing wrong. So I'll say:

Go ahead, report your mistake.

1 quest 4U expert:
do you think is it poss to copy a sequence into newone whitout stopping the sequencer?

First learn yourself, than come.. try to teach me.

i doubt that. most of my posts are about bugs and stuff. i sent so many that i actually gave up after one year of doing so (and i normally get paid to do this kind of stuff).

anyway, you have 4 posts, you claim that a bug does not exist without even trying it for real. and your name is bugfix. lol. sorry i could not take you seriously at all. (nothing against you as a person though, you just made me laugh on the forum.)

and if you care about the os, just try on the mpc and proove that a bug exist or not, rather than just speculating.

cheers :)

lol bugfix. you are right in the end, there is no bug there. i had forgotten the setting "after bar".
so obviously you know your stuff, congrats. Just i never believe if someone does not actually try. (and difficult to tell here who is serious and who is not).
