Thanks Nym!!!

I'm having a little problem tho. When I load the program into memory, the samples sound fine in the audition and the Trim screen, but when playing the pads on the main screen all I get is a short click of each sample on every pad???.

Is this because the pgms where created on OS2 as Inst pgms??

Is there any way i can use these on OS1??

here's something people should note
remember when i heckled on my video telling people to name responsible?
i found an easier way around that.

i create a "song" that was basically blank. it was just a chromatic pgm sending midi out through 1A. a series of 28 ascending notes were played one at a time at slow tempo w/ much release while the MPC recorded thru analog input.

since i had the list of notes in my sequencer, i created a single empty INST pgm w/ all the note ranges spread out the way they should be for 28 notes. then, i just drop in the notes 1-28, specify their original note names, and it's good to go. i reused this preset INST pgm w/ all of the multisampled pgms i have here.

all the patches have a default fx set on them, particularly a REVERB that i want to TURN OFF while i'm sampling these patches.

Maybe you've workied this out already but try going to EFFECTS mode. Then press the CTRL soft buttton. Change to the following settings:

Studio: 0 None
FXCtrl: Master
FXChan: None

I'm going by the settings on my K2661, but they should be similar, if not the same, on the k2000.

have any of you heard the sounds? What do you think?
rozzer how do you feel the sampled sounds compare to the original? is the keygroup dense enough?

Nym, I love the Kurzweil sound, although alot of the presets are quite dated nowadays.

I can't comment on your keygroup patches as I'm 2500 user :x
