Regardless of mpc 1k OS who ACTUALLY uses pitch shift on it?

hey, why can't JJ just make pitchshift switch able? (input thru section)

that way you can still keep pitchshift - and people who want to use LPF left and LPF right can - this would be the easy solution. -

this way people who want to pitchshift their farts can, while us others can filter our farts. Yeah!

oh yeah, so I guess if you use it "all the time" you never actually use your MPC1000 as sequencer, being as the pitch shifter and sequencer are incompatible... so sell your MPC and buy a whammy pedal, you'll have change

and what do you use it for?

I use it while I'm recording pieces of sequences, cool for making bendy drums(bendy anything really), scratching sounds and anywhere you'd normally use a pitch shifter.

apart from that your interest(/anger) in the way I use my mpc concerns me,

ahhhm ya, that being said I am down with having the option for two filters or the pitch shifter

the idea of a switchable dual function is ideal, one is good for sampling, one is good for live tweaking

Since it appears JJ is working on realtime timestretch/pitch shift in the EXTRA AUDIO PLAY menu....I think this input through/pitch shift function should be eliminated to give code space for full implementation of the new function.
