The MIDISense would definitely be cool to have when bringing your MPC out with you, as it's nice and compact. It would definitely be good for where work space is limited, as well as having an affordable alternative to other MIDI controllers.
I'd love to build one eventually and mount it in a small project box (like the ones I use for building guitar effects pedals).
From what I understand, the development of the MIDISense has gone further from the original, since the MIDIsense Analog+Digital I/O kit
v1.0 became available recently.
In addition to building a MIDISense, I'm also looking to build the Highly Liquid MPA MIDI Decoder. The reason behind that is because I'm planning on building my own drum synth with will have "trigger inputs", and this kit will allow MIDI-to-trigger conversion.

From looking at both websites, I'd definitely need both products in the future.
As far as what MIDI CC's I'd like to see in the MPC, there's just too many to list for me to decide on only 6.
That's very limiting. Any piece of MIDI gear that responds to MIDI CC's usually would be able to respond to way more than just 6 parameters.
Considering that the JJ OS2 is very synth-like with it's filters, filter envelopes, amp envelopes, pitch envelopes, LFOs, etc., I'd like to have external control over all of these parameters. I don't see why it's not possible.
