NEw OS not installing

I tried just holding the window button down . not both ..at the same time ......the mpc and the CF card are brand new...i dont think it would need to be formatted if u format the card then you cant transfer files from any PC

I ment if you formatt it though the mpc

If you format your Compact Flash or Hard Drive with the MPC, Your computer WILL still be able to read them.
Whether ir be MAC or PC!


Take your time. Format the CF card with the mpc. Download a fresh version of OS1. Transfer it to your CF card.
Put it in the MPC. Turn on the MPC, wait for it to start to boot (about a sec or two) then press the window button and walla.

after iI formatted my CF card with the mpc and tried to drag the file to to the drive from my windows based computer , windows said "cannot copy to drive would you like to format now"

?does every one agree I should just return this one perhaps it the CF drive.... its not loading anything not even the CF sounds it came with
