why is it so difficult to implement 'record track mutes'?

that's because it isnt available on MPC2500 os v1.1

Current 2500 os is v1.21, it it allows track mutes recording

i bet the japanese programmer will implement this in his OS in a near future though

to cpu: i loaded the 3.o os off the hard drive. copied it over via usb, then i think i just hit 'load', selected the .bin and hit 'do it'...it loads up then you just on/off your 1000 and it reboots in 3.

thats why i keep 2.1.bin in a nice folder on my PC. simple enough.

i doubt the software is gonna fry the hardware, so i'm not too worried about this beta. i'm anxious to load it when i get home tonight.

So I just installed the 3.0 beta and now everytime I turn on my MPC it is autoloading everything from the internal memory including the stock sounds that come with the MPC and also very old sequences that don't even show up on the load screen. Never had this problem before with any of the older OS.

Is there a way to turn the auto load off or delete everything in the internal memory?

yeah man, go into the memory card via usb, and erase the auto load folder and the other stock sound..heck save em if you use library sounds.

or go into MODE LOAD and press WINDOW on LOAD to get the option to turn auto load off.

It's not loading sounds of the memory card i reformatted that. It's loading from the actually Internal Memory like the RAM i'm guessing because it's not on the memory card or the hard drive.

I was able to turn the autoload off with your help which fixes the problem though so thank you.
