 Damn right!

And actually i bought my mpc to get away from the PC...
If you're on the Pc you can "work" - but music is intuitional and needs to be played, not programmed.

There is more than one way to run this on OSX (if you want to). 1. Bootcamp or 2. Parallels Desktop or 3. VMWare Fusion...

I got mixed feeling about the need of the JJ Sequencer, too. Especially with so many great DAWs out there. It's probably hard to tell wheather or not this app is useful not before knowing if there's any interoparability (does this word even exist?:)) with the MPC going on. From what I can tell from the pics, it looks a lot like a software MPC. But L
let's wait for the first youtube video on this

i think this could be dope. if he adds midi learn to assign pads to control certain functions/modes it would be like having the JJ mpc workflow on a computer. i 100% think its a great idea. i just hope he makes it a vst that will lock to a daws tempo (instead of a standalone program that you would have to manually sync up with a daw).

He'll be shooting himself in the foot if he doesn't offer some kind of MPC compatibility.

I don't know how far this goes, but can't you use the Mp to control most of the advanced hardware sequencers? It seems like this would have to be a sequencer designed specifically for running from an Mp... I just remember reading that this was not Mp based. I'm actually interested if it is, and when this first appeared I could not care less.
One thing I am worried about is latency issues though. Anyone know what causes it? I have an Emu soundcard, 0404 I think, that I never use. If I can get it to work well with this, than I may really get into this. I won't buy anything new for it though. This also brings up how much JJ plans to charge for the sequencer... :D :) :(

in the settings for your soundcard you should be able to set the DMA buffer size.
the lower the number for the buffer size the less latency, but the bigger the strain it puts on your cpu.

i have an old ass pentium 4 with a $99 m-audio delta pci soundcard, and i can set my card's buffer size at 256 which lets me play drums live off the computer with absolutely no noticeable latency on my system. i think if you mess with the buffer size you should be good to go...

Good to see some vids emerging. When can we expect a trial version to be available for download / purchase?
