This is one of the main reasons I switched back to version 2... I love the loop editing!

^^^^ NYM gotta be on vacation somewhere. I would love to see his thoughts on this and the new sequencer.

Did you get this sorted out yet?

He probably didn't see the part about the changes in Trim mode... it will take some getting used to

Trim mode should not have been changed at all unless they fixed where the end point could not be auditioned as you scroll the wheel. I don't think having to re learn or get used to basic stuff is good for workflow.

We are getting there and I'm really greatful to JJ but:

He has obviously done something to the code that prevents the end point trim working how it used to in Akai and JJ OS1. These new Trim functions are his way of a work around. Sadly the end point scrub is slow and no way near as fast or intuitive as it used to be. The pad jump to end point and start point is a nice touch.

It's great that he is trying to sort the problem out and listening to users but I don't think it's there yet. Just make the end point scrub like it used to be!

I tried it out, and the new trim end point scrub with the flashing screen just seems a bit too sketchy... I'm really happy with version 2 right now. At times I may load up xl for specific projects, but asking for more seems almost selfish anymore. I did think of something I tought might be nice though... I was thinking it would be cool to have an option of putting in a password to run any os on startup. Making it so that if someone swipes my Mp... It would be worthless... Just a thought.

Yes because I really want to enter a password every single time I switch on the MP ???
