Will you buy JJ-Sequencer?

i could be wrong but i think the major selling point of JJSEQ is supposed to be the fact that it somehow lets you simultaneously work with the MPC and edit your sequences with the application.

the only thing like that it could do is... it might allow you to open projects you made on your mpc in the application. that is not simultanious... the usb on the mpc 1000 and 2500 is only for accessing the card reader... not for data streaming.

i shouldn't have used the word "simultaneous", i meant more what you just stated, the fact that you can use your PC to edit your MPC projects, i didn't mean you could do it on the fly

Voted no.. I mean all my projects are born in Nuendo anyway.. I just re-mix everything and rejiggle off .MID and samples so I can play these songs live..

Maybe JJ-Seq will make the porting process a bit quicker but I'm already pretty snappy with the hardware alone.. plus I do tracks step by step so I noodle with programs to get them right as I go, haha I've finally nailed my workflow that way.

The good thing is , if this sequencer sells less than the MPC OS:S, JJ will realise what is true bisness and go back to the MPC world

Why dont JJ and Roger Linn get together and make the best hardware piece ever

I've had a quick look at the online manual and I'm afraid I do not get the point of the JJ sequencer.
It has more or less the same sequencing abilities of the MPC OS2Xl (plus a piano rolls it seems), but nothing else.
Ok, it has a better visual feedback than the MPC monitor, but I do not work that way on my MPC, so I would not use it all.
My way of working is more pattern based, so Ableton is much better for my needs.

if i can open up and edit my mpc sequences and arrange and then put em back in the mpc i guess i'll buy it. otherwise its sheet. and no OSX version = pure gheynezz

Hey Jamon lets work together on a New Topic in support of the JJ sequencer with positive ideas/suggestion.I hate to say it but I don't think JJ needs us because if you look at the amount of hits the JJ sequencer gets is simply amazing.

With more support from the MPC forums maybe JJ will be more talkative with the direction the JJ sequencer and MPC OS are going.

You are right - i hate that piece of crap. What is wrong with comparision to kontakt, cubase etc? Kontakt is sampler, cubase is daw incl. sequencer and it all works together and in fact jj sequencer does the same - it sequences a samples... What is so special on jj sequencer??-its ugly, useless (if you have a mpc) and it has no features that haven't been anywhere else before.. If jj made this software in year 1999 I would say "oh s**t what a great stuff" but now when there is a planety of audio soft. and jj sequencer can "only" play wavs its bit outdated. To be honest i would rather see jj to repair tons of bugs in jj os than creating jj sequencer and wasting a time...

It's not my bag because I find it faster and easier to work on my mpc, but peeps who missed this can vote too.
