here's another idea:
how about difficult to reproduce bugs? some bugs are really hard to describe via simple english. i could make video bug reports.

I guess its quite possible. I could even let him use my MPC if he is worried about the way his pads look. I wouldn't mind having him show me around the damn thing, I just got it a month or so ago and the JJ os of course

great idea! why dont we all get together to make finally ONE first basic video of an JJ OS in action? we CAN do it all together , no?

Similar to what was stated in the "fastest growing thread" thread...

It’s amazing to me that WE have a say in the essence of this machine. More importantly, its people like Nym and Steez who show nothing but support to this forum and the machine that we all have come to love. In all honesty, I don’t think I would have kept my drum machine had it not been for those two gents, and the oh-so-elusive JJ. Their devotion not only reassures my own purchase, but also keeps me glued to this site for updates, ideas, and insight.

I hope I never see the day that Akai drops a proper pad fix, or an OS that comes anywhere near the beauty of the JJ os's... simply because that would mean hell has frozen over!



Nym, no matter what you put into the forthcoming video tutorials... we should all be grateful for the time you have put in to help everyone out. I would love to see a collaborative effort between you and Steez, resulting in a purchasable / downloadable packet including the Steez Manual, Nym Videos and maybe even a Nym Pad Fix. It could be available similar to the JJ os's... pay once and receive future updates free. Thus promoting / supporting future releases and all the hard work put in.
