I don't agree, I think the bit converter in the JJ OS IS the closest thing to an sp1200 or an Emax (I own Both)

I have used degrade for 7 years and I think the jj os can edge it out IF you play with the filters on top of using the bit reducer.

Don't forget you can layer the bit reduced sound with the 16 bit version for more punch.

the bit recuction really needs to work like the timestretch and pitch shift if possible - where you can choose to keep, overwrite or discard. its annoying having to copy the sample just to try the effect.

agreed. as someone else mentioned, it'd be nice if "ALL" applied to the PROGRAM rather than literally ALL samples
