ok ok , i'm sure its not a pure fkin PURE sine, but its sine-y.

yeah, they're merely sounds with no high frequencies, which sound smooth and siney, but you're right they're not pure sine waves. pure sine waves are pretty boring!

just low frequencies. note: i said "frequencies" which means not one single tone as you would get from a sine wave.

I apologise for this diversion. Lets all get back to saying saying how terrible OS2 will be and complaining about JJ.

i need to filter (lpf) sines to make the attack less glitchy...

i personnally use the effects a lot they are good for what they are made for.
auto pan is nice, chorus make a chorus effect, delay makes digital delay, phaser make recreates phasing and reverb is really cheap and metallic, compressor pump...

that's nice and lovely, you just have to use them when you need them.
one of the thing i love with tghose plugin is to automate them in step edit, they are so glitchy.

i personnally own differents effects (tape echo, spring reverb, guitar pedals and other (doepfer modular) synth and plugins)

about tape echoes you won't ever have something realy tape echoing in the mpc...just buy one, it's not really expesive those days and really more funny.
i bought mine 100 euros with replacement tape and i use it as a really nice preamp to (it's from the 60's).

no, that's a sine wave with a changing pitch.

ok thats what i thought, AND its exactly the same procedure as before, just higher velocity giving higher freq's....and a bit of the ILL FATED FILTER2.

hey can u change that banner now, its starting to depress me.

yo, i just found a wierd quirk - not a bug.

i have a oneshot break here (patchphrase actually), and a few qlink>tune events and in the step edit list (mode+pad14), when i press F6 PLAY then quickly cursor down or move the data wheel thru the other events, the break continues but plays with any event value attributed to the ones i'm scrolling thru, so with my lfo is also doing cutoff, its all over the place, well funny.

As mkl said. The FX are good for what they are there for. I use them alot too, and i would really appreciate them not being removed. I find the comp very ruff and nice, and the reverb is very poor, but it has its sound.. I hate when people talk about removing features that you use..!

only fx i use is a bit of delay and reverb, just while i'm working on the idea.
when i start tracking that goes out the window
