Maybe eventually, the only way to squeeze more functions into with regard to a possible limitation in how big the code can be, would be to allow users of future OS's to choose which one they want to use for which project, e.g. OS3EQ for one that needs a lot of mixing EQ's, then switch to OS3COMPOSE to use chords and arpeggios etc. I think to make the perfect OS for everyone is not possible. So why not have different incarnations for different tastes. I really don't mind paying a little extra for each one as long as it means I can do more stuff off the computer, on the road etc...
