That's a great idea. I'm surprised Crystal, Hammerhead and MS-20 are the only VST's ported to iOS. I would easily pay $35 for a sequencable Poise app.

You got me thinking, does anybody know the whereabouts of the RS-16X developer? It's a Mac only program, and would probably take a week to port to iOS. Maybe we could petition the guy if we can find him?

Cyrus, you and the OP really nailed it with the point of the iPad being perfectly suited for a sample only app that focuses the coding on the tightest possible MIDI sequencing. NanoStudio and Beatmaker are great, but I'd love to squeeze all the juice out of the iPad with an app that follows the MPC's(JJ) OS as closely as possible.

so why not take the app JJ made and see if you could port it... or get a tablet it works on... not sure if there is a way to get it but it looked not too fancy plus the dude took time away from developing the mpc os series.

I don't know anything about coding myself. But your right someone could get the JJ Sequencer on a pc tablet. If I remember correctly, didn't the JJ Sequencer lack any kind of MIDI support?

I am not sure, I didn't really look into it beyond the couple of threads around here showing screenshots etc... I wasn't interested because I didn't see the point of it when there are so many alternatives that not only are likely to have been more powerful and compatible to what I'm doing, but visually look better then atari cubase (not to say graphics equal functionality... but you know what I mean)

I think JJ was smart going back to the mpc series work because at least he has no competition.
