1. Set "Mute/stop of one-shot sample" to "Immediate"
2. Record a sequence with a sample longer than the sequence itself.
Sample will cut at the end of sequence.

Bug appeared with version 4.80

Oh alright so you already reported it?

Did you send the audio clip? That seems to help

It appeared when the mute:immediate thing was fixed, trust me.

sorry, can't trust you on this one. read what i posted back on June 11th: http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=75802&highlight=#690589

i've had this issue ever since moving to the JJ OS on 5.06. granted i do have the mpc2500, but both the 1000 and 2500 have had the same bugs.

I have a one-shot that comes in at 004.04.48 and when it hits the loop point the sample mutes instead of playing through (it's a poly program)

here is the clip, with the one-shot how it should be in the beginning, then the played sequence. (streaming audio)

http://www.divshare.com/download/1591533-ed5

you can hear it get cut off though

let me know if this is my error or if it's still something JJ needs to fix (which I think it is) and I'll submit the bug report if it is.
Confirmed and reported.

I really wish this one would get fixed soon, it's really hurting me for what I want to do right now on the MPC - very annoying problem.

Is there any version from the past that still has the new Alt. Loop Mode feature, but doesn't have this bug? I'd be willing to downgrade for a while to get what I'm doing done how I want to if there is one.

I distinctly remember this not happening in a previous version, as my workflow is pretty much exactly the same as it was then.

This must be corrected soon.

did that previous version have the alternate loop? cause I'm really trying to get something done in a certain time-frame that needs the pingpong loop but also needs this bug to go away.

I hope it's fixed really soon.

Definitely not. I want to say it was around 4 updates back. Maybe we should start a new thread and point JJ to it??

a temporary fix is to go into the track mute screen, hit window, and change it back to THROUGH instead of IMMEDIATE. you won't get the immediate track mutes but you will be able to play long samples un-interrupted.

if you needed to use immediate track mutes, maybe you could sub a q-link set to the level -- you can do that right?

just a temporary solution though, I really want to see this fixed
