voice monitor has to stay ! really handy - I can't imagine you would gain a significant amount of space by ditching it

i think that's what it's supposed to do. you can't unmute the tracks and have the sounds begin playing mid-way through if the sounds aren't actually playing, right?

but see if it the same issue arises with mute/stop set to "through". when mute/stop was set to "through" on the Akai OS, notes on muted tracks were not triggered and so they wouldn't have taken up any voices. if set to "immediate", the notes should continue to be triggered on muted tracks so that when unmuted they begin playing right away.

in other words, with the akai OS, when mute/stop was set to "through", notes on muted tracks were not triggered. when mute/stop was set to "immediate", the notes were triggered, and just the sound was muted.

i'd test myself but i haven't installed the new OS yet.

well fcke, what else do we have, It looks like the pitch shift is on the chopping block, but it is kind of dope to be able to like hook up a nother sampler or a drummachine and pitch that shit in a live performance.

what else is there, you mp gurus must know something else simple as the pitchshift that can go, I promise if we get this next seq feature I'll never ask for anything else besides bug fixes pllleeeeeeeaaaasssssseeee, there must be something we can do, this feature we might be able to get is so damn useful.

Everybody uses his mpc in a different way, so discussion could be endless. To me, all the fx stuff is useless, as i use dedicated fx gear.

On realtime pitchshift, i dont even know how to access that feture, imo this got nothing to do with the mpcs main job as a sequencer/sampler.

JJ added the ability to choose how sequences are switched, which is a great feature, but it works only on main screen. Set to immediately start i could switch to the beginning of a sequence exactly when i want by hitting a pad, impossible to do by turning your jogwheel one notch in a live situation. So the feature is there, but it only works in the wrong screen.

Even better for me would be the possibility to have a "play next sequence" function for footswitches, i got the seqs lined up in order, playing with my band and can switch everytime i/we want wo even looking at the machine.
