oh I know. I'm just in the 'lost a bunch of music pissed off zone'

my point was that os2 isnt that important or valuable to a person who uses an mp as a master with daws/workstations/etc and that ultimately I think he's gonna make less money in the end and who knows, that could affect future updates

i am sorry for you, i know what it's like to lose stuff (new folder freeze) and it sucks. again, sorry.

os2 as of right now is especially beneficial to folks who use the mpc as their primary sampler due to the adsr addition and inst mode, though added sequencer benefits do improve sequencing external midi

but to call in-house adsr "retarded" seems...well...

preciatecha man and I dont mean to come at ya like that

adsrs: its a drum sampler! I want super snappy old school akai envelopes... I want to be able to adjust the attack a bit for fills or what not. if I dont like that my particular sample doesnt have enough decay or sustain then I'll just use another sample that does instead of adding artifical transients. 11 years of this--I got the sounds :)

I bought my Mp because of JJ. Period. Right now I have Ver. 2 on my 1k, but rarely use it. I have messed around with it a bit, and there are a few things about it that I already love. It just seems like it will take some getting use to, and right now I am very comfortable with Ver. 1 and still have a ton of features that I have yet to discover. I will deffinately buy the code in the future though. I love getting updates and learning new features. I also love that we have a say in what direction the OS will go. I was a big advocate for Alternate looping (or ping-pong looping), and it showed up! I'm happy to give JJ another $40. Well worth it...
