i often have my mpc sync'd to midi clock from another machine, and when the mpc's main window, the tempo readout goes to '(EXT)',

it would be helpful to know what tempo the clocks coming in at.
so mbe should be '(EXT)' with tempo shown underneath.
'xxx.x'

Even though the MPC plays at the same speed of the master device once it is slaved to an EXT device...I can understand why this will be a decent addition to the OS.

i asked yesterday if we could have the following feature for saving us from PADs weakness.

MODE + PAD ==> fonction (normal way)

i ask for add :

MODE + MIDI PAD NOTE ==> fonction

then if we plug an MPD, we could still access to the internal fonctions of the mpc without having to hit the MPC1K PAD.

could be a little workaround for pads replacement.

i am waiting after his reply

i'd like some velocity to lfo rate action.

so, like when the window button lights up when a sample's level is selected in program mode; the same should be for the lfo rate value in the lfo page, or mode+pad11.

...could also apply to the lfo's pitch/flt1/flt2 depths values.

would give very expressive pad playing.

as somebody mentioned before...

i really like the idea of controlling the track mutes from an external source via midi in realtime....so that you can programm the mutes on your host (cubase etc)....that way you could avoid all that sequence copying and programmchange to create a song....

Either if you use the MPD wit the 1000? If so hows the pad difference.

THe only thing i dont like about my 1000 compared to the 2000l i owned previous is the pads.

i use an mpd 16. not for a long time, because until recently i had my pads glued up so they were useful. right now i'm in a transition between new and old pads, so i'll be using it again more.

the mpd16 use interlink electronic sensors

chilom wrote:i would like to see a full midi implementation of the sampling engine in the mpc1K.

i would like to see ADSR envellope instead of just AD.

extension to 300 000 events in the sequencer. even if it has to be taken from the main memory.

a strong and stable os.

CO-SIGN!

300,000 notes would be very useful for live performances as well as making very lengthy studio tracks.

Advance Seq in play mode, without stopping ?

when on the main screen

Seq selected and use the jog wheel

only already made Seq are selectable

it would be great to set running Seq on Simult

and Advance to a empty one with the jog wheel.

Could a function similar to Pro Tools "tab to transient" function be implemented in the trim screen? - That would be amazing - would save a lot of time making up phrase loops (which I do a lot).

I'd really appreciate Number one:

ROUTE EFFECTS THROUGH INDIVIDUAL OUTS.

And fine would be to get rid of the dry part of the signal. So route only the wet part of the effect signal.

And, if not routing, at least let me just get the wet signal out of the stereo outs.
Then I could use OUT 1-2 for the stereo-sample-stuff and Stereo out only for the WET effect signal (Input Through).
The way it is now I have always my dry signal within the efect signal. :-(
Or does anyone have workaround?

So you want JJ to add 2 additional MIDI OUTPUTS to the 1000?
:P
