I just downloaded this and I gotta say all the added features and functionality are great. Its just taking a lil gettin used to. Considering that Ive been using Akais 2.12 os. I dont know why Akai couldnt have done this shit. Plus I just added all new pad (older style unfortunately)did all the soldering myself, and I have to day it way easier, and is nice to home everything running better than when I first bought it. Sorry I dont keep up much here on the 1k forms anymore. thanks JJ. and now Back to makin music

just jokin, but 3.08 gives you the bare minimun, if you are serious bout makin music you should look into gettin OS1 and 2. you'll be blown away. it might also help you with your pad situation cuz you will have greaty adjustability with sensitivity.

hAHAH..Not even I was satisifed with os 2.12os, ASR 10. I'm just tryin this one out, and like it so I'll most likely be copping the latest and greatest. I went down to VST and copped the old stlye replacement pads due to the others being on back order.

i'm more serious than you about making music (joking but not really) and i rock the free jj os all day. use os 1 and 2 for different things. but to say you're not serious about making music if you dont use those is just stupid. come on dude. who made up that rule? i'm sure there are career beat makers that still use the akai os. are they serious about making music?

1. i am in no way discrediting anybody who makes all their music with the akai OS.

3. i dont see the reason as to why somebody wudnt wan't to unlock the full potential from the 1k. in my opion, if you are serious about making your music, you will want to explore and experiment, new methods of producing your sound, both OS1 and 2 give you vast opportunities to do so, thus can even be an inspiration in creating your music.

your view on how serious you take your music differs from mine. but you have sort have proven in my view that you don't take it seriously at all. i bet your one of them cats that copped off the free jj for months, just because it was a means to an end for your fukin akai bugs, then when it came to gettin OS1 and 2 your the c*nt that couldn't fathom all the features it had, thus couldn't use it. it figures...
